Forsyth Chamber Events Move to a Hybrid Model with Safety in Mind

As the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce begins to resume in-person elements of our now hybrid events, the safety and well-being of our guests is of the utmost importance to our organization. We want our attendees to not only be safe, but we want them to also feel comfortable knowing that the Chamber is addressing the concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 by taking precautionary measures to safeguard our guests while ensuring we can continue delivering innovative and relevant experiences for Forsyth County’s business community.

To do this effectively, the Chamber has created an event policy guide. The guide outlines information that will be included in future event marketing, pre-event registration procedures, registration confirmation elements and attendance policies. For our guests attending events in-person, contactless check-in will be facilitated via a QR code at all events. All attendees will have their temperatures checked by masked Chamber staff members prior to entering the venue. Any guest showing a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be permitted to enter the event venue. Guests will also be asked to confirm that they are not exhibiting any of the CDC’s known symptoms of COVID-19 before being permitted to enter the venue.

Any event planned around a mealtime will be accommodated via a boxed meal and bottled beverages. Sanitation stations and social distancing markers will be located throughout the event venues. All Chamber staff members will be masked, and masks will be provided (but not required) for all event attendees.
